RSPN Official with AI workshop

Sharing my AI Journey with Royal Society for Protection of Nature

I had the privilege of sharing my journey through the hashtag#AIlandscape with staff of Royal Society for Protection of Nature, Staff of Thimphu Dzongkhag and Wangdue Dzongkhag Staff including Dasho Dzongdag.

During the session, I explored the brief history of AI, offered inspiration around its potential, shared a layman’s concept on how machine learning, deep learning and generative AI works and discussed how hashtag#promptengineering and various AI tools can enhance productivity in their work. The conversation naturally led to the importance of hashtag#ethicalAI use, ensuring that this technology is embraced safely and responsibly.

What truly surprised and inspired me was their eagerness to move beyond traditional approaches and become hashtagearlyadopters of AI. It’s clear to me that they understand the significance of this technology, not just as a tool like ChatGPT or other AI systems, but as a transformative force that is here to stay. My message was strong: If we fail to embrace it, we risk being left behind. Remember, AI will not replace you, but someone who uses AI will.

This is just the beginning of my efforts to spread awareness and ensure that the people of Bhutan are not only informed but also equipped to use AI to their advantage, always with safety and responsibility in mind. I look forward to hosting many more sessions like this in the future.

Thank you for your support on this journey.
