I had an opportunity to facilitate an AI Crash Course focusing on generative ai, tools and prompt engineering basics. 13 ai enthusiasts from College of Natural Resources and a colleague from Bhutan For Life attended the session. The course captured the following topics:
Inspiration: “The future belongs to those who can harness the power of AI for good…”~ Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and Alphabet.

2. Brief History of AI
3. Prompt Engineering: Crafting clear and effective prompts or instructions for ai tools
4. Generative ai -tools for generating new texts, image and videos,
5. AI for everyday work-Bard, Bing, ChatGPT, Dall-E2, Midjourney, Leonardo.ai,
6. Bhutan & AI-Finding the nexus: AI is the future, and we must blend well with the AI world.
7. AI ethics-responsible ai practice, avoid the biases, discriminatory remarks, training the models the way you would train your child.

The course was tailored to their needs and preferences based on the pre-course survey findings, and focused more on the tools for carrying out assignments and research effectively.
